Great Documentary; Great Non-Profit

Went to an advanced screening of Waiting for Superman hosted by Citizen Schools last night.

Like any documentary, this one has a narrative arc that provides more color on some things than others, but the thesis is generally well taken and bottom line — it’s VERY well delivered.

Reforming failing schools is supposed to be this perpetual and unsolvable thing.  Waiting for Superman features, and Citizen Schools represents, some of the key players who are actually making it happen.

Also, a shout out to my friend, Joe Ross, for hosting a wonderful evening in his newly minted role at Citizen Schools.  Get after it, Joe!
